My teacher (that throws his pencil case at students to shut us up) have a tradition with seniors that let the students have revenge and throw their cases at him.

I wonder how long until one is filled with shaving cream and left open?

My teacher kept a foam brick in their desk.
First time was wild. After that it was just funny.

I’m guessing he doesn’t fully launch them at them.

Lol, that unspoken teacher-student treaty tho! 😂 Any student brave enough to throw the math textbook too or just sticking to pencil cases?

I had a Philosophy professor in college who would regularly call students stupid and throw erasers at them if they answered a question incorrectly. Good times. Learned a lot from that guy.

Back in the 80’s my dad used to throw an eraser at kids who fell asleep in his class. He had great aim and would usually put a big puff of chalk right in the middle of the back of their shirt so it would be hard to remove and everyone who saw it would razz them about getting caught by him. Once the kid woke up and popped his head up. The eraser caught him square in the back of the head and caused the kid to have an enormous coughing fit. His parents raised hell and my dad got suspended for three days without pay.
After that the students were pretty terrified of him because he let the rumors run wild. He thanked the kid for the vacation and pretended like it never happened although he wasnt allowed to throw erasers anymore.

A pen broke the screen on my macbook in college. $500 repair. This is entirely stupid and why throwing things is banned in most schools. “It’s funny”. No an eraser is funny, a pen case is a solid object. Not to mention MacBook repairs are expensive.

At our high school a math teacher losing his temper once threw a pair of scissors towards the class
This was in the second half of the 1990s

I had multiple teachers at high school and then even university lecturers throw chalk, dusters, white board markers, whatever, at anyone who did anything to irritate them, and not all (but most were) men! Like at uni I saw multiple mature age students (like 40yr old) catch some chalk in the forehead whether they were in the front row or hiding in the back. Man this maths professor i had was like a sniper!

This is a good teacher. Interact with them at their maturity level and they’ll listen to you and respect your authority more.

Had an elementary teacher that would throw chalk. Quite accurately, too.

Ha we had a high school chemistry teacher who would throw chalk at people who were talking. I caught the chalk once and flung it back at him and it exploded all over the chalk board. He just stood up and kept right on teaching.

Had a chemistry teacher at college who would throw his biro, pencil or ruler at people talking during lectures. Really bright guy, literally wrote the book that our and most other colleges used.
It was all fun until the day he hit a girl in the eye with a pencil. It wasn’t even her he was aiming at.
